An Expensive Lesson in the Time Value of Money
Being told that Keswick was really nice, I did pay a visit, but don't remember much. One of the train stations in the Lake District had a cute poster (for want of a better wordπ) on counting sheep in Cumbrian :

The lesson : losing track of the last train or bus back, can be very costly. Plan your exit (return) when you start. It's like trading - it's easier to get into a position than out of one. The cost : $100 or so - because I was enjoying a snack in Penrith at the time the 20:05 was heading back south π.
